NVRtxt (“NVRtxt”, “we”, “us”) provides an email-to-SMS forwarding service that turns NVR/security-camera alert emails into text-message notifications. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account information — name, company, and email address of the account holder using NVRtxt.
  • Configuration — the inbound alert addresses you create and the destination phone numbers (recipients) you add.
  • Message activity — for each forwarded alert we log the inbound email subject and sender, the cleaned message text, the destination number, delivery status, and timestamp, to provide support and enforce limits.

How we use information

We use this information solely to operate the service: to match inbound alert emails to your configured endpoints, format them, and deliver them by SMS to the recipients you designate, and to provide support, billing, security, and abuse prevention.

SMS / text messaging

Recipients receive text messages because an account holder configured NVRtxt to forward alerts to their number, with their consent (typically captured by the installer at setup). Message frequency varies with alert activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in/consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used only to deliver the alerts you configured.

Service providers

We rely on infrastructure providers to operate NVRtxt — including a cloud database/authentication provider, a hosting provider, an inbound email provider, and an SMS carrier/aggregator — who process data only to deliver the service on our behalf.

Data retention

We retain message logs and account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Contact us to request deletion.

Security

We use measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and per-account data isolation to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

Recipients can opt out anytime by replying STOP. Account holders can remove endpoints or recipients in the dashboard. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date above.
