SMS Messaging Terms

These terms describe the NVRtxt SMS/text messaging program. By providing a mobile number to receive NVRtxt alerts — or by having an account holder or their security installer add your number with your consent — you agree to receive text messages as described below.
Program description
NVRtxt sends automated text-message alerts derived from the motion and event alert emails produced by an NVR or security camera, along with occasional service notifications related to those alerts. These messages are transactional notifications requested by the account holder — NVRtxt does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How consent is obtained
Recipients receive messages because an account holder configured NVRtxt to forward alerts to their number, with the recipient's consent — typically captured by the account holder or their security installer at the time the system is set up. NVRtxt does not send messages to purchased, rented, or third-party contact lists, and consent is never a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your system's alert activity. During periods of frequent motion or events you may receive several messages; at other times you may receive none. Per-endpoint and per-account limits are applied to prevent excessive messaging.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan and carrier. NVRtxt is not responsible for charges from your wireless carrier.
Opting out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. To resume, reply START.
Getting help (HELP)
For help, reply HELP to any message, or email support@nvrtxt.com.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and network conditions.
Privacy
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in/consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used only to deliver the alerts you configured. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We may update these terms; we will revise the “last updated” date above.
