For businesses with cameras

Get camera alerts to the right phones, instantly

Motion at the back door after hours, someone in the stockroom, a car in the lot at 3am — NVRtxt turns your NVR’s email alerts into texts so the right people know right away, without anyone opening an app.

Reach staff, not just an app

Texts land on any phone — opening and closing staff, the on-call manager, even an answering or monitoring service. No app to install, log into, or keep online.

After-hours peace of mind

Use your recorder’s arming schedule so you only get texts when it matters — overnight, weekends, or whenever the business is closed.

No new hardware

NVRtxt works with the cameras and recorder you already own. If it can email an alert, it can text you.

Readable at a glance

Each alert becomes a short line like “Motion: Loading Dock 3:18 AM” — clear on a lock screen, no decoding a forwarded email.

No alert storms

Per-endpoint rate limits and monthly caps keep a busy camera from flooding phones, and the activity log shows exactly what was sent.

Multiple locations, one account

Running more than one site? Create an endpoint per location and route each to the staff responsible for it.

Compatibility

Works with the systems you already run

Hikvision and LTS get tuned parsing; Dahua, Uniview, Reolink, Lorex, Amcrest, ANNKE, Hanwha, Axis, Blue Iris and many more flow through the universal parser.

FAQ

Questions

Which camera systems does this work with?
Almost any NVR, DVR, or IP camera that can send email alerts over SMTP — Hikvision, Dahua, LTS, Uniview, Reolink, Lorex, Amcrest, Hanwha, Axis and many more. See the setup guides.
Can different staff get alerts from different cameras?
Yes. Create a separate endpoint for a camera or group of cameras and add only the phone numbers that should receive those alerts.
Will it text us constantly during the day?
Only if you want it to. Set the recorder’s arming schedule to business-relevant hours, and NVRtxt’s rate limits add a second layer of protection against alert floods.
Do we need a dedicated IT person to set it up?
No. The setup is a few settings on the recorder plus adding phone numbers in NVRtxt — most installs take about ten minutes by following the brand guide.
