Pricing questions
- What counts as a text?
- One SMS segment — up to 160 characters. NVRtxt formats every alert to fit a single segment (e.g. “Motion: Driveway (D1) 12:58 PM”), so one alert is one text, always.
- What happens if I hit my monthly cap?
- You get a final “cap reached” text with an upgrade prompt, and SMS delivery pauses until your next billing cycle. You can buy a top-up or upgrade to resume immediately. On plans with chat channels, Telegram, Discord, and Slack alerts keep flowing even when SMS is capped.
- Can I buy more texts without upgrading?
- Yes — a top-up adds 500 texts to your current cycle for $5, one cent per message. Top-ups don’t roll over.
- How does the free trial work?
- Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial that includes 50 real texts — enough to set up your recorder, test alerts end to end, and live with it before paying.
- What’s a “site” on the Installer plan?
- A site is one endpoint — typically one recorder at one client location, with its own unique alert address. Installer includes 10 sites; each additional site is $4/mo. Recipients and the monthly text allowance are pooled across all of your sites.
- What if I run more than 10 sites?
- Extra sites are $4/mo each, so the plan grows with you. If you’re managing dozens of sites or need volume texting, an API, or white-label alerts, contact us at support@nvrtxt.com for enterprise pricing.
- Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
- Yes. Monthly plans cancel anytime and stop at the end of the billing period. You can upgrade or downgrade whenever you like; annual plans get 2 months free.
- Are there hidden carrier or registration fees?
- No. NVRtxt sends over fully registered A2P 10DLC messaging, and all carrier and registration fees are included in your plan price.
